Nijad Al-Najdawi

Dr Nijad Al-Najdawi, received his B.Sc. (hons.) degree in computer science from the Department of Computer Science, Mu''tah University, Jordan in March 1999. In December 2003 he obtained his MSc in Multimedia and Internet Computing from the department of computer science at Loughborough University. Dr. Al-Najdawi joined the Digital Imaging Research Group at Loughborough University and obtained his PhD in 2007. His PhD research was supervised by Dr. Edirisinghe and Dr.Bez. His research interests include video coding, image processing, object tracking and recognition, shadow detection and game engine development.
Currently Dr. Al-Najdawi is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and the dean assistant for planning and development at Al-Balqa’ Applied University.
